Eric Madson provides personal financial planning services with care and compassion, offering thoughtful advice and strategies that build toward achieving individual financial goals. Eric joined MPPL to become part of a comprehensive financial and investment advisory team. After years as a financial services “solo act,” Eric seized the opportunity to provide more for his clients while allowing himself to focus on where he excelled working one on one with clients to help them shape their financial future. Eric enjoys diving in to untangle challenges and find solutions that work for each client. No two days are the same, and for Eric, that’s part of the appeal.
When he’s not piecing together financial puzzles for his clients, Eric is deeply involved with the local business community. As part of the Greater Downtown Council and Duluth Chamber of Commerce as well as the Proctor Economic Development Authority, Eric helps shape and strengthen the region’s culture of entrepreneurship and business. Eric finds unending joy in spending quality time with his six wonderful grandchildren. Through their eyes, Eric sees a new perspective on the world that keeps him young, vibrant, and fun.
